Apps That Droid Does Have Vs Iphone
location: droidfarm.com - date: December 10, 2011
Recently, I was asked how to get text messages off an iphone while keeping the contact information intact eg: what number sent it, what time etc. to save and print.
Coming from Android I figured this would be simple tell the person to go and find a sms to email app or a sms backup app.
I was shocked when the person came back in five minutes telling me that there was no such app... After all, this is the app store with over 10,000 apps and something so easy isn't possible there wasn't even one on Cydia!
So I looked myself and there was one for $4.99 but that's obviously not a choice for the person in question.
Coming from Android I'm not well versed in iPhone or how to sync the phone with the computer just to save stuff.
This issue should have been addressed already via the cloud.
In the end, we had to download an app to a computer and then save/print the messages from there!
So I was struck with inspiration to list apps that we as the Android Nation have that the i

Duh! The Droid DOES Have One Touch Dialing
location: droidfarm.com - date: January 14, 2010
I've had my Droid over a month-- and I just figured out that you can you can set up a shortcut to a Contact on any home screen, creating an icon which will dial the desired phone number with a single touch.
If someone here will admit that they didn't know about this feature either, maybe I can stop slapping my forehead.
Does the Droid 4 have the same Glass that that the Razr has?
location: droidfarm.com - date: February 24, 2012
Basically I was just curious if this phone even needs a Zagg Shield Screen protector or if it can just run naked and be fine?
I saw a video of this guy taking a knife to his Razr Screen and abusing the snot out of it..... and there were NO scratches on it after he was done going Sadistic on it. I just think it would be nice to not have to have a screen protector.
Any thots Guys.
Did the Gorilla and his Glass company visit the D4?

Droid Theft vs. iPhone Theft
location: droidmania.com - date: March 7, 2013
So here in NYC area a big issue is iphone theft. People are getting knifed and beaten up with baseball bats for iphones. I never hear about folks getting attacked for their droids. Is it just because people have more iPhones than droids?

Droid Bionic: Apps That Are Safe To Remove Once Rooted
location: droidradar.com - date: September 10, 2011
Updated 9/12/2011 - Added warnings not to remove certain apk's to avoid bricks. Added Google Books, Arc Video Editor and FM Radio to the safe list. Please read carefully and proceed with caution
If you are only looking for the lists, feel free to scroll down to them. That said, there is some very important info before the lists I would strongly encourage you read.
All original Bionic system app files can be . See notes below if you need to reinstall something from this zip.
This list is based on the Droid 3 procedure and is based on my prior experiences with a variety of devices. I am very confident that the Verizon Bloatware, Live Wallpapers, and Widgets listed below can be safely renamed/moved. That said, this is a new device with an updated version of Motoblur. If you do not want to be a test case, you should wait for others to confirm these apps are safe to remove. Do not throw stones at me if something goes wrong. Please post in this thread if you have removed other apps and ha
Samsung Galaxy S3 vs Droid DNA vs iPhone 5
location: droidradar.com - date: January 30, 2013
First of all, Android vs IOS. What are the advantages of each? Is it true that you can get a lot of free apps and music with Android's Google Play?
As for the phones, which wins in the following categories: Durability, Performance, Design, Screen, Camera, Software and Extras, and Overall.
In my opinion, the S3 is the most balanced, but I'm hesitant to get it because it falls behind in benchmarks. I'm pretty much down to the DNA or S3. I think the S3 feels much more comfortabe than the DNA, but I haven't held an actual working model of the DNA. I don't think I'll need that much storage, considering I don't have any music (I'll probably get whatever music I like that's free legally, and up to 20 songs at most that I pay for). The battery on the DNA is okay, but I would prefer better battery. I want to know which is the phone I will enjoy overall the best. I know it really depends on the person, and I honestly don't want a gigantic brick for a phone or a phone that breaks easi
