Neither the stock G3 calendar nor Tasks app sync with google?
location: droidradar.com - date: August 24, 2014
I use google calendar and its tasks feature, however the tasks do not show up in the stock calendar (only events do), and the stock tasks app which is supposed to sync with google calendar tasks, doesn't. Instead, the onIy option is to sync with Microsoft Exchange. I tried some third party apps (Jorte, Calendar++) without any luck. For those of you using google calendar from your desktop/laptop, how do you get the tasks to display on your G3?
What application to sync microsoft outlook calendar and tasks?

I just bought the new HTC Dream on the 2nd and am finally getting around to setting it up. I downloaded Touchdown through the market, but am wondering if this is the best app to sync my microsoft calendar and tasks.
Please let me know what you think as I hope to have it all set up this week to start work.
Calendar sync for Tasks?
location: droidfarm.com - date: August 31, 2011
I really want to have my Google tasks with due dates show up on my phone's calendar, either the stock calendar or a 3rd party app. As far as I can tell, although "Tasks" appears as a calendar in my Google account, that data is not synced to my Android phone. I have been using a calendar app which also does not show my Google Tasks, although it does show all events and other calendars in my account. I know there are calendar apps in the Market that say they sync with Google Tasks, but I'm not sure that means they will display dated tasks in the calendar view, just like they display events. I'm willing to pay for something like CalenGoo if it does what I want, but there doesn't seem to be a free trial version. Anyway I was wondering if anyone else has any advice on best ways to combine Calendar and Tasks. Since the dated tasks do show up on my online Google calendar, you'd think they would have a way to do the same on the phone via Android. Then again,

Turn off google calendar sync??
location: droidmania.com - date: October 16, 2010
I recently got the droid x and relinquished my blackberry curve. I love this phone but I have one major problem. I am a psychologist, and use my X to schedule all of my appointments, and keep track of my clients. Because of legal issues and client privacy laws, I need to keep my phone from syncing my Google calendar to the internet. I can't have that information out there. I use Gmail for all of my email and contacts and such, but every time I turn off Google sync on my phone it syncs again the next day. I don't want to just kill all syncing, or I won't get my email anymore. Any ideas? I am also up for finding an "offline" calendar that has the same principals of Google calendar, but has no syncing ability. HELP?!
Facebook events/Calendar sync
location: droidmania.com - date: March 25, 2013
I'm using the Google calendar app for my calendar management and up until a week ago my Facebook events would show up in the calendar app. I have no idea why it just stopped working.
I'm not sure if this issue is specific to the phone or not, but I got some sort of notification that I had to update my facebook settings due to something samsung related having changed (sorry, I don't have any more detail than that). And after that the calendar stopped displaying my events.
I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling Facebook & the Google calendar app. I've flushed the calendar storage, rebooted, etc... nothing works.
I can sync the calendar with no problem. But it just refuses to show up.
I've also tried exporting my events to my google calendar and that's been useless as well (I get the birthdays, but no events).
I really liked that feature. Has anyone else had a similar problem? Anyone have an idea on how to fix it?
I'm running Android 4.1.1 if that matters
Exchange calendar sync doesn't work
location: droidmania.com - date: February 12, 2012
I've just setup a new B7510 for connection with exchange. Mails and contacts sync without any problem but I can't see my calendar. I've already checked if it's checked, all settings seem to be ok.
On Galaxy SII and iPhone it works perfectly so i guess it's not my exchange settings that are causing this problem. Anyone have an idea?

UPDATE: FIXED!! see bottom of this post for the update
Been working on this for weeks. What I would like to do:
- Worker has GS4 and inputs timesheet hours (electrician) into his phones calendar
- Phones calendar syncs to GoDaddy calendar account
- I (owner) view calendar from Outlook at office computer to track hour What I have done:
- Purchased a GoDaddy calendar account (up to 10 users)
- Created my worker his own Calendar account
- Synced GoDaddy calendar to workers Gmail account (Godaddy calendar published)
- In workers Gmail account (online) I have added to "Other Calendars" for GoDaddy syncing by adding URL published from GoDaddy What works:
- Event posted in GoDaddy (online) calendar shows up on Outlook and Gmail (online) calendar in "Other Calendars - GoDaddy"
- Mobile phone events sync to Gmail (online) calendar under "My Calendar" only. Not under "Other Calendars - GoDaddy"
- GoDaddy (online) calendar is viewable from Outlook in m
Facebook Events and Calendar Sync Issue
location: droidradar.com - date: February 27, 2014
I have an HTC One on the WIND network in Canada.
I have Facebook sync for Events and Contacts set up on my phone. I noticed something peculiar today: my Facebook friends' birthdays are syncing on my phone, but my Facebook events are not. I don't know if this is a recent problem or if it's always been there (never really paid attention). I removed my FB account on my phone, uninstalled the app, reinstalled the app, added my account again, set up the sync and I was still having the issue. I've tried searching extensively on this forum and throughout the web, but no luck so far.
Anyone else having a similar issue? Any suggestions for troubleshooting?
Google calendar sync issue
location: droidmania.com - date: January 17, 2014
I've recently moved over to a android from the dark side and Im delighted to have done so. I have one annoying issue which I can solve yet and I'm sure someone has had to deal with this before so I thought it best to ask!
I have both a Samsung tab 3 and S4 Mini and have a problem syncing my Google calendar. As a freelance musician my job involves me taking bookings up to 2 years ahead. Despite my best efforts in changing every setting I can find both on my devices and on Google calendar I cannot get my calendar too sync more than 11 months/12 months ahead. It's worth noting that at a certain stage every month it jumps ahead and syncs for a further 12 months but never a my further.
This problem occurs on both the stock calendar app on both devices (S Planner) and also the standalone Google calendar app and jorte app with no success. This leads me to believe it's a Google calendar issue and not an android thing but on my iPhone it worked ok and I could see all eve
