Selective Google Calendar Sync Error, not the usual one.
location: droidmania.com - date: March 4, 2014
Hi I have an S4 from Verizon, non-rooted and I enabled developer mode. Everything works fine and I love this phone, but one odd issue (worth making this post about) has been bothering me.
Using android 4.3 Jellybean
When I sync my google account it says sync error with the red symbol,BUT it does in fact sync everything and I have all my contacts and apps and stuff. When I remove my Google account, all of the contacts go away and when I sync they're back.
All of the sync arrow cycles seems to go through, next to the check boxes, they're all fine EXCEPT, there is no option for "Sync Google Calendar" ... This is where my issue differs from ones I've seen.
YES I've tried removing and re-adding account, Re-installing Google Calendar AND making a new account and syncing that, new accounts made ALSO don't show "Sync Google Calendar".
With the chrome webapp for Google Calendar it does infact sync everything and that works through Chrome in that tiny interface. I
S3 calendar sync issue between Exchange and SPlanner

Hello everyone! Longtime BB user and made the jump to an S3 (still keeping my eye on that BB10 :-). I have a weird issue that I'm hoping someone can help me with. I have the S-Planner synced to my exchange acct and everything had been working well for 2 months. I went on a trip where the timezone was off by an hour. When I returned some of my recurring appts are now all stuck behind by an hour. They appear fine in my outlook calendar on my laptop, on my ipad and my playbook. The only device with the wrong time for these meetings is the phone (I even downloaded a second calendar app in Google calendar and it had the wrong times in there as well). I uninstalled my exchange acct and cleared all the cached data so it would have to re-sync from scratch (did this twice) and it still downloaded the appts at the wrong time. I've checked the timezone on the calendar and on the phone (both are auto synced to the carrier) and checked the timezone in the individual events and it shows as

Hi all, new to the forum, so please tell me if I need to move this question to another sub-forum.
My father-in-law just bought a new Motorola Moto G phone. He had an HTC Desire and the calendar was sync'd by using the phone's software "HTC Sync". We are trying to find a simple way to get the calendar from outlook sync'd with the new phone. Does anyone have any suggestions please? There doesn't seem to be any Motorola software bundled or even available for download that will do this..

ICS Outlook Calendar Sync Issues
location: droidradar.com - date: April 27, 2012
I have a Nexus S on Sprint. It was recently updated to Android 4.0 (ICS). Since then I have been having problems with meeting notices on my Outlook calendar showing up correctly on my Nexus. Sometimes the meetings show up multiple times on the same day in the same time slot, sometimes meetings that get rescheduled on Outlook don't move on my phone and stay on the original date and time, and sometime meeting don't show up at all on the phone.
Is anyone else having similar issues? Or have suggestions on how to fix?
How to view, edit Exchange Active Sync tasks?
location: droidradar.com - date: January 10, 2013
Android 4.x has options to sync EAS tasks, but how does one view them on the phone? I don't see any app on the phone that will let me see them, nor can I figure out where they get sync'd to.
Never mind. I just figured out the stock calendar app shows them. Unfortunately, I really don't like the stock calendar. Anyone know if any other task apps will see these?
Calendar Sync woes (iCloud, Kies, Google)
location: droidradar.com - date: December 7, 2012
Here's my problem, got fed up with Apples lack of innovation but was happily using iCloud for 3 calendars being shared, mine and my wifes. It makes planning stuff far better when you can see what everyone has got on. I digress.
I've recently upgraded to a Note 2 (My wife has the Galaxy S3) and now our calendars are completely out of sync. I've downloaded smoothsync to pull the data from iCloud but I believe the sync isn't two way so anything new or edited is lost and not synced across the devices.
So my requirement is to sync existing iCloud calendars to Google (Only way I can think to do this is via iTunes) or some other multi calendar option and not the device calendar as that too, as far as I'm aware, is local only. Finally, create a new shared calendar for both of us to use.
Has anyone had similar issues or tried to sync iCloud calendars out to google?
[app] Calendar Sync for iCloud

Synchronise your iCloud calendar on your Android device for free. This application uses the caldav protocol to synchronise your calendar with your Android device.
How to use:
If you are using Windows, you can use this tool to get the required information: http://www.mediafire.com/download/tt...tionFinder.exe
Replace the UNIQUE_ID with your iCloud unique user Id number (can be obtained from the app on windows).
Replace the Calendar name with your calendar name.
Change 'p02' in server address to your server address, also can be found from app on windows.
Press sync button anytime you want to sync your calendar. Sync works both ways.
App to calendar sync like icloud

I intend to consult the best experts (all of you) for the following situation.
I own a ASUS TF700 and an Samsung Galaxy S2, but I intend to "share" my calendar between the two devices like Apple's iCloud can do.
So, any one know an application that would allow me to make this sync?
