location: droidfarm.com - date: February 27, 2010
Last night I tried taking Adamz's Nandroid BU SGPro 4.5 and opening it to add and remove sounds apks and fonts. Everytime I would rezip it and flash it, the ROM would give me a "error 28 corrupt files. I tried it with winzip and 7zip. Now I am starting to think that this can't be done...
[v9.20] Online Nandroid / Nandroid Backup without rebooting [CWM + TWRP + 4EXT]
location: androidpark.com - date: April 26, 2012
Nandroid backups are usually performed in recovery mode. This means you would have to turn off your phone and reboot in recovery mode, which wastes a whole lot of time rebooting and a lot more time offline. For me, this has been a killer as I do regular nandroid backups. Having to reboot in recovery and finding missed calls, sms from my wife and friends is totally not accepatable for me. So, I set to develop an online nandroid backup tool, namely Online Nandroid, which can do nandroid backups without switching off my phone.
Today, I am releasing it to public, as it may serve good for some others too. Originally I developed Online Nandroid specifically for Xperia devices, but now I am releasing it for all android devices.
This tool, eventhough called "Online Nandroid", does not upload/save backups to any online/cloud services. Online here means that it does backup while phone is live or still running Android.
The short name onandroid is meant to be pronouced as o-nand
Error while taking a nandroid backup
location: androidpark.com - date: January 5, 2013
I am getting this error while taking a nandroid backup using CWM 22.214.171.124 ''error while making a backup image of /system" on Jelly Blast v3.0.4.
I have 6793 mb free space on sd card so i don't think that free space is a problem. What's going wrong? How do I fix this?

Ok so theres SDK's, and JDK's, and drivers and ..... ahhhhhhhh!!!!! lol all this stuff to know! Don't worry, when it's laid out in an easy to read way, and you actually take the time to read it (<-- Key), this is all fairly simple. Requirements:
-Make sure you have a good charge on your phone. I suggest starting with a full charge.
-From the home screen of your phone press Menu > Settings > Applications > Development > check mark "USB debugging". This is necessary to root the phone.
-You need to download from the market (free) Instructions: Root 1) On your computer, download and install on your PC 2) On your computer, download . 3) On your computer, make a folder right on your desktop and name it "fun" or anything you want. 4) On your computer, using 7zip, winzip, winrar or whatever tool you want, take the contents out of Lg_Esteem_Root.zip that you downloaded in step 2, and place those contents into your "fun" folder you created in ste

[Q] Help with Nandroid backup on Lenovo Phone
location: androidpark.com - date: March 21, 2013
This is my first post here, I have a question about Nandroid backups that I hope someone can clarify. I know that a Nandroid backup is a snapshot of a system image. I wish to know if this backup will also include language files in a multi-language ROM.
I bought a Lenovo phone (S890) but it only came with Chinese and English, My friend has the same phone but his came with a Multi-language ROM. I thought since we both have the same phone we can try and install the same recovery software on both phones. I can then create a Nandroid backup on his phone and use that backup on my phone to get Multi-lang too.
Is my assumption here correct ?
Many thanks !

NEWBEEIS and NOOBS Please stay away as if its not a ROM its the same Stock ROM what you are using i have uploaded it strictly for developmental purpose.
For all the Devs here is the my Nandroid Backup taken from CWM Recovery i have other tools with me will be trying to get a Stock ROM dump by that also if possible so that we can flash it with a Flashing Tool but i dont know i may be able to get it or not but if succeeded then will upload that also but as of now this will also work to make a Custom Rom for Micromax A73.
And one more thing as if its my Micromax A73 Nandroid Backup i dont know if it contains my IMEI numbers or not so Devs request you to check that also. If it doesnt contain my IMEI then any one can use it as a backup if required.
Can any Dev provide me the Unsecured Boot.img by MODDING the Boot.img from the backup and also a Custom CWM Recovery which is MODDED for Micromax A73 By using the Recovery provide in the link.
