Mobile Banking app automatically pushed out
location: droidradar.com - date: October 8, 2011
The app Mobile Banking for Android automatically pushed itself out to my phone even though I didn't give it permissions to install (I've never used it). And I cannot uninstall it. A lot of people on the Android Market are complaining about similar issues. I'm worried that this is some sort of spyware, malware or keylogger. Anyone have any additional info on this?
I have service through AT&T.

[Boost Mobile] ChameleonOS: Android 4.3.1 For ZTE WARP [ VERY PREBETA ]
location: droidmania.com - date: November 12, 2013
Chameleon OS (or ChaOS for short) is a custom Android ROM that gives the user more control than they can experience on any other Android ROM. Starting with a CyanogenMOD base, we customize each piece to give ultimate control while maintaining the simplicity we all love about Android. The most notable feature of ChaOS is the theme engine, which can apply different pieces of themes in a true mix-and-match style. The launcher has been completely overhauled with tons of options that you'd normally need to download a third-party launcher for, such as home screen previews, folder sorting, and folder icon styles. The Messaging app has also had some UI retouches, including messaging bubbles and quick emoji button.
The entire framework of ChaOS has been modified around the theme engine, allowing for custom fonts, boot animations (with animated preview), and themes. No longer do you have to try to find the perfect theme, with Chameleon OS you can patch it together with your favorite piec

Migrating from Windows Mobile to Android (apps replacements)
location: droidmania.com - date: May 14, 2011
I tried to search all over the Internet to find the answer to my questions, but I never manager to do that and therefore decided to post a question on this forum. A short information about myself: currently I am an active Windows Mobile 6.5 user that plans to change his mobile device. I really do not like neither the new MS product (Windows Phone 7) nor iPhone and therefore my third and only option is Android. Before I will make my leap of faith, I would like to find a bit more information about the platform itself and the application ecosystem to make sure that I will be able to replace my WM apps with Android alternatives. It is really hard to google that kind of information (of course you can find an answer to a couple of my questions, but not to all of them) so the Android community seems to be my only hope
Below, I will present in a few words most commonly used apps (from my personal perspective) in Windows Mobile and I hope that you will be able to just state t
mobile G1 Android Problems in Brazil (HTC Brasil Vivo)General
location: droidmania.com - date: August 17, 2009
I just moved here from the US, and have a HTC Tmobile G1.
My new job uses Vivo, and am wondering how to setup my phone to work on that network. I unlocked the phone and it worked fine on all of the India/China networks (meaning I could use different international SIM cards without any loss of function) when I was traveling there, but when I insert a Vivo SIM, it asks for the "SIM network unlock PIN (or something similar to that)." When I try to enter a PIN it keeps saying that it is unsuccessful.
Does anyone know how I can get my phone to work on the Vivo network (in Sao Paulo)?
If I cannot get this to work, does anyone know which carriers would support my phone? Are there any android phones available in Brazil for the Vivo network, and if not are there any Android phones available in Brazil on any network?
I am willing to pay anyone for their time to assist me in setting this up. I am a Google / Android power user and really do not want to switch to a new plat
Mobile banking website problems
location: droidradar.com - date: January 4, 2012
My girlfriend uses a local bank in CT for her banking and on her BlackBerry Storm2 their website worked for her just fine. I bought her the Galaxy Nexus for Christmas and it wouldn't work on it and their tech support knows nothing but it worked on my phone with was unlocked, rooted and running a ROM. So I did that and put on Revolution HD and it then worked for her. I wanted her to have a 4.0.3 ROM so I flashed AXI0M and it stopped working but it works perfectly fine on mine. I checked all the browser and security settings between the two phones and nothing works. I tried using Maxthon on Axi0m and it didn't help. Any ideas guys? I'm probably going to flash it back to Revo or try Liquid because I liked that on mine except the G Wallet not working on 1.2. So help is greatly appreciated but it is kind of weird if you ask me since it works fine on my phone.
