[HOW TO] Install Adobe Flash Player on Galaxy S4
location: droidmania.com - date: April 27, 2013
Adobe Flash Player still works great on the Galaxy S 4, but only on some browsers. I was surprised that they have even blocked it on the stock browser. But it works well when used with the right browser. No root necessary.
Video Tutorial: Galaxy S4 Tips & Tricks Episode 1: How To Install Adobe Flash Player on Samsung Galaxy S4 - YouTube
Step 1: On your S4, go to Settings -> Security -> Enable Unknown Sources
Step 2: Download apk directly from Adobe. Adobe still updates Flash regularly every month, so use this link instead of downloading an old version from someone's private link. Scroll down to "Flash Player for Android 4.0 archives" and download the latest version.
Archived Flash Player versions
Step 3: Download Boat Browser.
Use this for all your non mobile browser needs. Naked Browser also works, but the UI might not be for everyone. I hear the UC Browser works too.

HOW do get flash player to install? FRUSTRATED!!

How do you install FLASH on HTC ONE with KitKat 4.4?
I can't seem to get it to install. Whenever I view any video's (ie. on facebook desktop webpage), it says :
"Flash Player Upgrade Required"
"You must download and install the latest version of the adobe flash player to view the content"
"GET FLASH PLAYER"
But when I click the "GET FLASH PLAYER", It takes me to the adobe page where the text is all scrambled and overlapping each other. What I CAN make out, I select from the drop menu which contains all archives for LINUX. But says it's not compatible with the phone.
I then searched on here and came across the instructions from but I tried that and it seems to only contain flash player for 3.x and not the new 4.4. I downloaded it, installed, but when I go to view the video's again, same "GET FLASH PLAYER".
I even shut the phone down and restarted it.. I'm SO frustrated!

[GUIDE] How to extract RUU & manually flash rom.zip HTC One M7
location: androidpark.com - date: October 25, 2013
So, you may have made a bad flash, having trouble to S-OFF or just want to go back to 100% stock ROM and recovery. In that case, the easiest solution is to run your RUU (ROM Update Utility). But unlike the conventional method, this guide is about extracting the rom.zip from your RUU for a faster and more comprehensive installation. The extracted rom.zip will also allow the possibility to decrypt the RUU in order to get access to all the individual files inside the encrypted archive. So, if you want to flash, for example, only the stock recovery, you can do it without having to flash the entire RUU ROM, which will restore the phone's entire software.
Note: Your HTC One can be either S-ON or S-OFF in order to successfully flash RUU rom.zip. But if your device is S-OFF, you do not need to re/lock your bootloader.
Follow the instructions in the given order to avoid any hiccups or possible bricking of your device:
1. You will need to know your HTC One's MID and CID. These codes will allow

[GUIDE] How to Flash in Custom Recovery
location: droidradar.com - date: September 23, 2012
There are several ways to flash your android device. You can use Odin, ADB / fast boot and custom recovery to flash different types of files to your android. Odin - Odin is used for flashing .tar files on the Samsung devices. tar files are usually complete roms, kernels or recovery's. Odin is installed on a desktop or laptop computer and flashes the tars from the computer to the device through the usb cable. ADB / Fastboot - Fastbooot is what you will use to flash .img files. Like the .tar files, they are normally complete rom images, recovery's and kernels but there are a lot of other things that are flashed with fastboot. Fastboot is installed on a desktop or laptop computer and flashes the .img files from the computer to the device through the usb cable. Custom Recovery's - Custom recovery's are used to flash zip files on your device. zip files can be used to flash full roms, kernels, recovery's just like the tar and image files but can additionally flash mods, fixes, custom tweak
How do I flash ROM?
location: droidmania.com - date: January 3, 2014
I don't even know if I'm using the right term (flash? install?). I have an HTC One S that's already rooted and is running version 4.0 and sense 4.0, but I want to upgrade to Jellybean (4.1 to 4.4, whatever is most stable). Is there like a step by step guide to how to do this that I can follow?
