Nexus 5 vs LG G2 vs HTC One vs Samsung Galaxy S4
IMO, these are the best ~5 inch display android smartphones (that are not overly large like the note 3) as of right now.
At the moment, I am leaning most towards the Nexus 5, which I have been getting very hyped for in the last couple of months. Now that it is out, however, I am staring to rethink my inclination because of the few shortcomings of this phone. It has amazing specs (at least, in processing power, display, and memory) that just honestly cannot be argued against. And also, I love the new Android 4.4, and the complete stock, google android look just seems so amazing.
I know people are very critical of the speakers, but this topic does not apply to me whatsoever, because I almost never use speakers on my phone anyways.
However, one problem that could potentially be a very annoying issue is battery life - although it isn't a small battery, I have heard the 2,300 mAh battery is very unreliable and never lasts a full d

This looks like one of the hot comparisions out there right now. Many of you are probably wondering if you should get the One or S4. I was in the same boat as some of you guys before buying the HTC One. I had been using a nexus 4 which felt fast and good in hand, but after breaking the screen and getting quoted $250 to fix it, i decided to buy a new one. I didn't even look at any phones other than the HTC One, Galaxy S4 and XPeria Z. I removed the XPeria Z from my list after hearing that the snapdragon s4 feels laggy on the 1080p screen and the screen is a little washed out compared to the other two. It was really hard to choose from the remaining two, but here are things that i thought were pros and cons of both phones:
Galaxy S4 Pros:
- Has SD Slot
- Has Removable Battery
- Processor is clocked 200MHz higher at 1.9GHz (Doesn't make much difference)
- AirView is pretty cool and would be pretty useful if more apps implemented (I don't think the API is open though)
- Faster unofficial

If you had an upgrade what would you choose.........
My choice would be the one. I like the LCD screen found on the DNA. I have alot of faith in the 4 Ultra pixel camera. I want a phone that doesn't feel like a child's toy. The quadrant scores on the One were amazing, although I'm sure the S4 will come close. What would you choose?
FYI: all phones have ultra pixels, however there 1.1. The ones found on the One are 2.0. Just saying

I have seen SO many threads about the pro's and con's of both handsets and most are based on bias because people just want to justify their purchase one way or another or are comparing 5 minutes of use in a shop with their every day phone. I have now got both phones and here is my "opinion" of the pros and cons for both....
The One's screen is stunning but feels small compared to the S4 and while I am one of those people who prefers the unnatural oversaturated colours offered by the S4 the sharpness seems way better on the one. Icons on the S4 have a slight fuzzy look to them compare to the One like a JPG being stretched. Could all be down to the screen size which as I said I much prefer the S4's larger screen.
This is a lot of preference but anyone who says the S4 is better looking than the One is on crack or like I said justifying their own purchase. The Samsung's plastic obviously has benefits like being able to change the back cover when it is scra

So I know that there's probably going to be tones of these threads so I might as well kick start it. I'm up for a contract renewal soon and I'm willing to wait for both of these phones. But which is better? I love the HTC One's design but the Galaxy has so many cool features. Any opinions?

Unsurprisingly the One has better audio quality, but the S4 is louder.
